Scary Movie 3

Miramax Pictures presents

Starring: Charlie Sheen Anna Farris

Directed by: David Zucker

Rating:**

Plot: The third installment of the scary movie franchise. They make fun of The Ring, Signs, 8 Mile and The Matrix. Somehow though this movie was rated pg-13. Stupidity ensues.

Acting: Huh? Acting that does not really exist in this movie. Charlie Sheen is pretty funny, I love the guy. He like many other actors in this film was not used to his potential. He has a couple good moments like the Michael Jackson scene and the one where his daughter is screaming and he keeps hitting his head, genious. Many other actors are pointlessly in this film like George Carlin who has a one minute scene which sucked. The only thing I can point out is Anna Farris is one cool chick. She has been in all three of these movies and I really think she can do better, wait she already has in Lost In Translation. Good for her.

Directing/Writing: If there was a script for this movie I would find this guy and kick him in the balls. I mean how drunk and stupid and high can you be to write this kind of stuff? I haft to admit I laughed at a couple of jokes. I did really enjoy the fact that the kid from the Ring got hurt in like every scene. That was enjoyable. Also a scene in which a dead body explodes (Don't ask). Another good moments is when they make fun of the highly over rated 8 Mile. That was classic. Otherwise the jokes started to fall flat and the pg-13 rating got rid of the really over the top tatics they did in the first film.

Overall: Compared to the other two Scary Movie movies this one falls horribly flat like soda which has been out in the sun for two days type of flat. Still some funny moments but man save your cash and just watch one of the first two movies again.
