Plot: Freddy is back but now the teens of Elm Street don't remember so he has no power. So he tricks Jason Voorhees to leave Camp Crystal Lake and come to Elm Street to start killing again, Jason does. So now Freddy has power as teens start to die they remember his name. Sadly Jason won't stop killing and keeps getting in Freddy's way, oops. So now lets the teens get slaughtered and LET THE BATTLE BEGIN!!!

Acting: Oh now come on acting? All I haft to say is Robert Englund is great, he really enjoys this character and you can tell he delivers his lines and he just kicks ass that is all I haft to say, he is Freddy. Ken Kirzinger who replaced the old Jason did a good job at standing around and being silent. The rest of the cast? Well they either got killed somehow or had really pathetic dialogue or took off their clothes, no real point in talking about them because this is about Freddy and Jason haha.

Directing/Writing: Ronnie Yu is the man. He directed The Bride of Chucky which was shitty but that is because I hate Chucky I never understood why anyone would think a doll with a bad temper is scary, just punt the ugly basterd out a window. Anyway Yu does a great job with this. He brings back the old 80's style of doing these movies. Any teen who either smokes, drinks, has sex, hell if they get naked they die basically. The blood and gore is top notch here and is just amazing to see an R movie on the screen lately with are culture aiming for everything to be okay for kids. So I was really enjoying this all the way through. My only complaint and its small is this movie became so over the top with kills and jokes that nothing was really scary, I enjoy scary movies so I can't wait for Cabin Fever but this movie just doesn't bring the scare thrills, it still kicks ass though. Another thing I want to point out is people have said how bad the dialogue between the teens is, well that is the point you watch all the horror movies and Yu basically took every stereotype from horror movies and put it in one film. Now lets talk about the battle between the terror titans. IT WAS SIMPLY THE GREATEST THING I HAVE EVER SEEN. I was just gaping at what was happening I remember just imagining what the battle would be like and Yu did it ten times better. I am not going to say who wins in the movie but it is just so great to witness no matter who you want to win.

Overall: This is literally the most kick ass thrilling movie of this year, hell of the last decade. This is in my top five of the summer, hell it might even be number one. So take a stab at it if you want. Just remember don't go to sleep mwa ha ha ha.
